Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wunder City mobile application and related services (collectively, "Wunder City") operated by Wunder City ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Wunder City. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@wundercity.app if you suspect any unauthorised access.

You may not share, transfer, or sell your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. The Service

Wunder City lets you discover and claim virtual "drops" placed at real-world locations. Successfully claiming a drop awards points that can be exchanged for gift cards and rewards via participating retailers ("Retailers").

We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify drops, rewards, point values, and retailers at any time without prior notice.

4. Points and Rewards

• Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• Points do not expire while your account is active.
• Rewards are subject to availability. We are not responsible for delays or failures by third-party Retailers.
• We reserve the right to adjust or revoke points if we detect abuse, fraud, or technical errors.
• Gift card codes are non-refundable once redeemed.

5. Premium Subscription

Wunder City offers an optional auto-renewing Premium subscription that unlocks exclusive drops and larger rewards. Subscription details, pricing, and renewal terms are shown in the App before purchase. All billing is handled by Apple through your Apple ID. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's own Media Services Terms and Conditions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, GPS spoofing, or any automated means to claim drops or earn points.
• Access or attempt to access the App's backend systems, APIs, or databases without authorisation.
• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Impersonate another person or create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or exploit rewards.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the App for other users.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all points and rewards.

7. Location Services

The App uses your device's GPS solely to show nearby drops and to verify claim eligibility. You must be physically present at the drop's location to claim it. Attempting to claim drops via GPS spoofing or similar methods is a breach of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including logos, graphics, text, and software — is owned by or licensed to Wunder City. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that drops will be available at any given location.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of points or rewards due to technical errors.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → delete account), which permanently removes your data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
